Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and/or commercial clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Follow all safety procedures and local HVAC codes.
Qualifications:
- HVAC certification and/or state licensing (as required).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC installation or repair.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors).
- EPA 608 certification preferred.

Newton & Son’s Heating and Air is seeking a skilled HVAC installer who takes pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. We are looking for an HVAC installer who can complete change-outs and new constructions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install furnaces, air-conditioning units, heat pumps, mini-splits, ductwork, vents, and controls according to manufacturer specs and local codes.
- Lay out and fabricate sheet-metal and flexible duct runs; measure, cut, and insulate line sets.
- Start up and commission new systems, verifying airflow, refrigerant charge, and electrical performance.
- Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and adhere to OSHA and company safety policies.
- Must be familiar with wiring controls, thermostat setup, refrigerant, gas piping, venting gas furnaces, and ducting.
What You’ll Need:
- 2+ years’ experience installing HVAC equipment (or completion of accredited HVAC training/apprenticeship).
- Basic use of hand tools and gauges.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools; able to lift 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
